Job Description We are currently seeking a talented driver development engineer with experience in networking technology for our Bangalore location. In this role you will work as a Software Development Engineer for developing network drivers for LTE modems. Previous experience with WiMAX/LTE or other wireless networking technology would be a plus. You will regularly be required to identify, debug and resolve driver/embedded software issues, and therefore must have strong problem solving and communication skills.
Job Requirements:
Education: MS/BS
Experience in driver development: 4 to 7 years
Core experience should in developing Linux networking drivers
Should have experience in developing drivers in Android platforms
Should have solid C programming skills
Should have in-depth knowledge of Android platform, OS kernel mode programming, kernel debug tools and build tools.
Hands on experience in at least one hardware bus protocol like USB, SDIO, etc. Familiarity with troubleshooting bus level issues with Logic Analyzers would be a plus.
Experience with wireless networking would be a plus.
Experience with driver development in QNX / ThreadX/ Nucleus / MAC OS X, BSD Unix, Windows, etc., would be a plus.
Should be willing to travel to Japan, Korea and Taiwan
