The individual will execute tasks such as: • Process monthly payroll for salaried, interns and expatriate employees • Audit pay information in payroll system such as pay changes, transfers, new hires and terminations that are interfaced from our HR database • Answering questions and addressing any issues from company employees • Interface with HR staff and management regarding payroll questions and employee requirements • Participate in audits of payroll-related activity, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements • Complete reports and other requirements associated with year-end or other reporting needs on an as needed basis. Job Requirements Education/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or other recognized accountancy qualification. Prior experience in Payroll/IIT service department from large public accounting or payroll processing firm a plus Basic accounting knowledge/experience a plus Minimum of 5 years work experience with minimum of 2 years in payroll processing and administration Experience The ideal candidate will be a hard-working energetic individual with solid experience, including previous payroll processing experience in a multi-national corporation. This individual will have strong analytical skills and should be a high-energy, self-starter who is able to set priorities and work to tight deadlines. The individual will be familiar with local labour regulations, individual income tax rules, social security regulations/policies and related operation procedures in China, be familiar with internal control requirements and procedures for payroll function within a Multi-National Corporation as well.
