Baseband Engineer for the Copenhagen Hardware Platform team
Broadcom Denmark is Broadcoms European design centre developing technologies for Mobile & Wireless Group, including mobile phone platforms featuring 2G/3G/4G cellular, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mobile TV and multimedia technologies. We create the future mobile and multimedia reference platforms and also work closely with our customers to customize our platform and support their projects.
We are looking for a new team member for our BB HW team in Copenhagen. In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a great team of highly skilled professionals, and be a part of a dynamic, exciting and entrepreneurial organisation.
As Baseband Engineer at Broadcom Denmark you will be working in a small and efficient Baseband Hardware team that is responsible for the development of Broadcom's next generation mobile phone platforms used by the worlds leading mobile phone manufacturers.
Your responsibilities will involve:
System Specification and Evaluation
Test Execution and Baseband debugging
Schematic and PCB optimization
Documentation
Your job will also include interfacing as well as cooperating with customers to make sure that all technical specifications are met. Your cooperation with project teams in our head office requires some travel activity as well as regular meetings outside normal working hours.
To be successful in this role you will need an Engineering degree and relevant experience with BB development.
You may have experience with GSM and WCDMA technology.
You are a flexible and self-directed team player who knows how to take the initiative and operate in an international environment. You must be fluent in English and have excellent cooperation skills. You will have a hands on approach and are able to undertake a variety of technical, project and practical tasks. A good sense of humour will match our informal environment.
