Should be fully verified using benchmark testcases, should have top-notch QA process in place before applying to actual design projects. This person is responsible for coming up with roadmap, timelines and meeting the project requirements. Need to work with CE team and CAD vendors on all IPs &amp; tool issues and getting them resolved in a timely fashion.
Work on devices which contain several hundred internal memories, several millions logic gates, and high speed serial IO channels.  Responsible for full-chip or hard-modem-IP floorplan, P&amp;R, signoff timing closure, DFM clean, tapeout quality gds2.  Work closely with RTL designer to get good quality netlists, ECOs, signoff timing closure. Responsible for tapeout quality GDS2 to be given to foundry team.

You will be part of a team validating / verifying System on a Chip (SoC) ASIC’s digital design for advanced wireless/baseband communications products. Typical designs will include a minimum of one ARM processor, DSP Processor, FLASH and DDR Interface and various peripherals including USB, camera and LCD controllers.
In this role you will be part of a core team of verification engineers developing /enhancing verification framework for cellular chipset. The team will be responsible for developing block/system level reusable verification environment which can be ported easily to full chip level using HVL
Your primary role is the verification, testing and debugging of the RTL
It includes, but is not limited to, the following:-
1. Acquiring a system level understanding of the verification of block by writing ARM tests
2. The running/owning of tests to verify the operation of the block’s interfaces.
3. The development of test scripts and test harnesses with which to conduct this testing.
4. The development of an automatic system for regression.
Job Requirements 1. B.E./B. Tech. with specialization in ECE/VLSI design with 9+ Years of Experience.
2. Strong hands-on technical experience in the physical design for at least 4 complex SOCs.
3. Strong hands-on technical experience in Industry standard physical design tools.
4. Experience in handling SOC implementation with multiple power islands, voltage islands and other low power design methodology
