* Develop WLAN protocols and features

* Full life-cycle software engineering of pure software features as well as integrating with sliicon

Job Requirements * Strong knowledge of 802.11
* Good networking knowledge of TCP/IP
* Strong hold of “C” programming
* Sound knowledge of device driver development. Specially network device driver is plus with respect to how TCP/IP stack would interact with driver under various OS's
* Very strong understanding of system primitive usage like Semaphore, Spin-lock, critical section, event, message queue etc.
* Ability to identify issues in the driver synchronization between different threads, also between interaction of application and kernel space
* Strong working knowledge of interrupt handling in the device driver and issues surrounding DMA/Cache/SMP etc
* Ability to identify bottle neck in the driver performance and be able to propose solution to overcome CPU utilization and data throughput issues
* Knowledge of various host bus's like SDIO, SPI, USB &amp; PCI.
* Need strong knowledge of internal working of one of the embedded OS Linux, Android, Windows 8, Or Win Phone

** WPA Supplicant knowledge is a plus
** Open source development is a plus
** Detailed knowledge of SDIO is plus
** Good knowledge of USB is plus

Job Requirements The following are the specific required skills and desired experience:

* Experience with one of Win8/Win7/Vista required. NDIS miniport driver experience is required
* Experience with KMDF, WDM, Windows Internals, WinDbg is highly desired
* Must have mastered OS concepts of: Process, DMA engines, interrupts, Interrupt Handling, Timers, Memory Virtualization, Threads, IPC, user space, race conditions and perimeter locking
* Chip and platform bring up experience is preferred
* Understanding of hardware issues and experience working with hardware engineers and with bus and logic analyzers is also highly desired

- Architecting and implementing 802.11 features and extensions in the driver.

Job Requirements Typically requires a BS degree and 9 years of experience, an MS degree and 6 years of experience or a PhD and 3 years of experience in application and driver software development on one or more embedded operating systems.
- An understanding of networking and preferably 802.11 protocols and the knowledge of the latest Standards based features is desirable.
- Direct driver and systems level experience with embedded operating systems such as Linux/Android or Windows is required. Experience with WindowsMobile/CE, Symbian, pSOS, or other real time Oss are desirable.
- Networking driver experience is required, and knowledge about networking concepts is expected.
- Chip bringup experience is highly desirable. Understanding of hardware issues, working with hardware engineers with bus and logic analyzers is mandatory.
- Knowledge on power saving techniques for embedded devices is desired.
- Must have knowledge of common industry standard buses, with emphasis on SDIO, SPI, PCI and USB.

You will work closely with the hardware engineers and experience full product lifecycles from pre-silicon all the way through to full software release.

In this position you will develop algorithms and software for GPS signal acquisition and tracking. You will work closely with software and hardware teams to define the implementation and verification specifications and to perform hardware bringup and system level integration. You will support low-level integration of GPS with other wireless technologies, and help define system partitioning and architecture for future generations of Broadcom's GPS and Wireless Combo chips.
Job Requirements - Typically requires an MSEE degree and 6 years of experience or a PhD and 3 years of related experience
- Extensive experience in the design, simulation, testing, and implementation of practical DSP algorithms for communication or satellite navigation systems (Emphasis is on signal acquisition and tracking, data decoding, multipath mitigation with specific GPS knowledge is a plus)
- Background in fixed point design, implementation of regression tests, generation of test vectors for hardware verification, coding of algorithms in firmware in C/C++
- Ability to interface well with hardware, RF, and embedded software teams
- Some understanding of HW/SW architecture issues
- Proficiency in Matlab
