Job Description - Responsibilities include all aspects of providing a production test solution for mixed signal product lines
- Will team with Design and Product Engineering to assess testability, develop and implement test strategies, document test plans, develop ATE test programs and hardware, correlate tester and bench measurements, provide ATE characterization data, and transfer test manufacturing, offering ongoing sustaining support for each assigned project
Job Requirements - BSEE required, MSEE preferred
- 12+ years experience with high-speed mixed signal testers (Teradyne UFlex (IGXL) or Verigy 93K required)
- Mixed signal knowledge required
- Strong programming background (C++, Visual Basic, Perl)
- Knowledge of high-speed SerDes and network product test methodologies desired
- Knowledge of DFT (scan, iddq, jtag), DSP, Analog Test Methodology, Linux and Windows
- Must be a good communicator, team player, have project planning/organizational skills, and demonstrate analytical thinking

Your primary responsibility as a Software Engineer in Test will be to work with the development teams to create new test harnesses, automate integration testing, implement new automation tools and create innovative automated test systems to validate the functional correctness, performance and capabilities of our ucode, firmware, software and hardware.

Primary Responsibilities
•Develop automated tests/infrastructure in partnership with developers for continuous integration testing of 802.11 and Bluetooth Products
•Provide thorough Analysis of test results/defects of software, hardware and embedded firmware and be able to help determine root cause and provide debugging information to developers.
•Isolate defects, help developers reproduce errors, and ensure that defects are fixed
•Participate throughout the design and development process, characterizing features, developing tests
• Participate in the constant improvement of our Continuous Integration practices and Test Automation.
• Gain a technical and functional understanding of our product and become part of our ongoing feature and enhancement development effort.

Job Description Broadcom offers a family of WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple-Access), EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution), GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) and GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) products for use in cellular phones, cellular modem cards and wireless PDAs. As wireless devices including handsets, data-cards and smart-phones, emerge as the dominant platform for mobile media convergence they are driving the need for higher data rates. Broadcom is developing solutions supporting the next generation of high-speed mobile technologies with a product roadmap that includes base-band processors for WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple-Access), HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) and HSUPA (High Speed Uplink Packet Access).

As a DFT Engineer, you will be responsible for 40nm/28nm design for test (DFT) methodology development and implementation. You will participate in block and chip level DFT architecture design, working towards the successful implementation of LogicVision LogicBIST, TestKompress ATPG, and RAM BIST in our chips. Your responsibilities will include, test insertion through simulation and timing analysis, generation of test vectors for the ATE, and working with test engineering to bring-up and debug the vectors.
Job Requirements -Typically requires a BS degree and 12 years of experience, an MS degree and 9 years of experience or a PhD and 6 years of experience.

8+ years experience in DFT for VLSI.
Strong knowledge of DFT techniques - scan/atpg, logic BIST, membist, iddq, jtag.
Familiarity with Verilog, VHDL, Perl, TCL Familiarity with Synthesis, Static Timing Analysis and some exposure to physical design tools.
Strong experience with Logic Vision's memory and logic BIST flow desired.
Experience with mixed signal a plus.
