Business Unit Operations/QA
Job Description 1. Will work with marketing and sales to understand the customers' requirements/forecasts and put that information into a usable format for Broadcom suppliers
2. Communicate proactively within the entire planning operation (Singapore included)
3. Provide timely and accurate updates on all manufacturing capacity reports
4. Work with suppliers to secure capacity to support the forecasts, flagging issues and working to correct issues before they become a problem
5. Interface with QA and engineering to understand all technical issues and the relative effects on material flow
6. Provide timely and accurate forecasts to all suppliers
7. Contribute in the development and maintenance of a dynamic capacity model
Job Requirements - BA/BS degree in Operations Management, Economics, or Project Management.
- 0-3 years Planning experience or
knowledge in the semiconductor industry
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple, independent projects under tight time constraints
- Able to communicate effectively through all levels of the organization
