Job Description Broadcom is developing solutions supporting the next generation of 3G and 4G high-speed mobile technologies. Broadcom offers a family of HSPA (High-Speed Packet Access), WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple-Access), EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution), GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) and GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) baseband processors, power management ASIC and RF ASIC for use in cellular handsets, PC cards and other wireless-enabled consumer electronics.

This is a senior management position in Mobile and Wireless group systems & architecture at Broadcom. The successful candidate will lead teams to define requirements and specifications for SOC architecture and PMU system for future cellular chip set.

In this role, you will work closely with marketing, product management ASIC, and SW engineering teams to drive the technology roadmap for multimedia subsystem, memory subsystem and power management unit. In addition, you will be responbile for providing guidance/direction to the teams in performance modeling of the multimedia subsystem, memory subsystem, power estimation which lead to the definition of the SOC roadmap.
Job Requirements The candidate should have 15+ years of experience in system and/or architecture in cellular mobile phone with emphasis in multimedia architecture and its assocciated technology such as display, video codec, memory technology, etc. Successful candidate shall have experience, in-depth knowledge and familarity with the industry trends in the above mentioned areas. Knowledge in Android operation system, ARM core will be a plus.
