We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner with a generalist background and a demonstrated record of success and career progression in a fast paced, high tech work environment. The Broadcom culture requires a collaborative and flexible individual who is proactive in communications and able to develop effective relationships at all levels within the company. Individuals having substantial experience assessing organizational needs and developing and implementing programs to meet those needs are strongly preferred. Scope of responsibility will be both strategic and tactical, focused on supporting several hundred employees at multiple sites. An HR Business Partner will be responsible for delivering a high level of human resources services by providing appropriate influence, guidance and assistance to address a variety of employee related issues. Will work closely with the business management team to provide HR support, anticipate employee and organizational issues and make recommendations and implement solutions to attract, motivate, develop and retain employees. Responsibilities include emphasis on creating and leading projects related to organizational development, career path development, talent development, succession planning, workforce planning, management training, and performance management.
Job Requirements The position requires solid analytical and communication skills and demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and creatively. Senior HR Business Partners are expected to have a high level of independence and maturity to manage multiple ongoing issues and complex employee related matters with minimum supervision and with excellent follow up. Travel to domestic sites will be required. A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or other related field plus a minimum of 12+ years progressively more responsible HR generalist experience, preferably in a fast paced high tech work environment. Ability to multi-task and handle complex employee relations matters with minimum supervision and with excellent follow up.
