- Design, develop and implement touch panel systems
- Drive panel design efforts with touch panel vendors
- Work closely with silicon design team to ensure panel characteristics meet product requirements
- Perform touch panel characterization
- Generate detailed touch panel specification
- Write application notes and technical white papers about capacitive panel systems
Job Requirements - Master's degree in EE or physics with 5+ years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 9 years of related experience
- Good understanding of capacitance and resistance
- Past experience and familiarity with touch panel technology and capacitive touch sensors from a mechanical, electrical, optical and stack-up perspectives
- Hands-on experience with circuits simulation tools
- Good understanding of PCB and layout techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
