For this position we are looking for a strong firmware/software developer who can develop ARM-based ROM-targeted firmware for highly responsive and efficient user input detection and input tracking SOC. The candidate should be able to develop and implement algorithms for image processing applications and also design and develop host API software for various mobile OS'. He/she will work closely with systems, and ASIC design engineering to participate in architecture design and trade off discussions.
Job Requirements - Masters degree or higher preferred along with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the area of embedded firmware/software development
- Strong knowledge of C programming is essential
- Experience with embedded development environment is required
- Strong communication skills and hands-on debugging and testing skills is required
- Embedded processor boot code, drivers, power management, memory management etc, experience is a strong plus
- ARM - CMx processor architecture knowledge is a strong plus
- Experience with DSP algorithm implementation is a plus
- Experience with at least one mobile OS - Android, Windows/windows Mobile, iOS, etc. is preferred
- C++ and/or Java application development experience is preferred
