Job Posting Title IOT-Carrier Acceptance: System Test Engineer

Job Description In this System Test and Verification engineering position in Mobile Platforms Solutions BU, you will:
1) Participate in system verification, debugging and testing of mobile devices based on GSM, GPRS, EGPRS, WCDMA, HSPA, and LTE standards.
2) Participate in inter-operability and operator acceptance test and verification program with leading infra-structure vendors and cellular operators. You may be required to provide leadership in these area as well.
3) Work with multiple groups within the organization and also with external personnel at equipment vendor labs and cellular operator labs to perform system verification, debugging and testing.
4) Study cellular standards, review requirements and test plans.
5) Work with network simulator test equipments to perform verification and testing of Broadcom chipsets.
Job Requirements Minimum requirements: a BS degree and 9 years of experience or an MS degree and 6 years of experience or a PhD and 3 years of experience.
1) Strong understanding of 3GPP cellular standard is essential.
2) Relevant experience with integration and testing of cellular system using GSM, GPRS, EGPRS, WCDMA, HSPA and LTE is highly desirable.
3) Relevant experience with mobile test equipments and test cases development is needed.
4) Experience with software development (C, C++) for embedded system is helpful
5) Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP and UDP) is helpful.
6) Knowledge of TD-SCDMA is a plus
7) Travel 10 to 25%
