Job Description We are looking for an embedded mobile systems software engineer who has demonstrated expertise in
3 or more of the following:
-- Device drivers for wireless
modems such as LTE/3G/2G,
WiFi etc.
-- Deep knowledge of host interfaces
such as HSIC/USB, SDIO etc.
-- Intimate knowledge of device
enumeration sequence at HW level
-- BSP design, development and debugging
-- AXI/EMT, JTAG, USB analyzer etc.

-- Crash dump analysis
-- Power management
-- Boot ROM development
-- Throughput, latency, power and other embedded system performance aspects
Job Requirements - M.S. and 9 years experience or a PhD and 6 years experience
- Must have had project lifecycle experience on a mobile/embedded product e.g. developing Android Smartphone with LTE or 3G, WiFi and BT
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have excellent knowledge in the following areas:
o Smartphone Software Architecture
o Power Management
o Modem Driver architecture
o Performance optimization
o Telephony and Data Connection Management
o Middleware/Framework

- Ideal candidate would also have had experience in two or more of the following aspects:
• Provisioning and Management SW such as OMA-DM
• Smartphone Hardware Architecture
• Intimate knowledge of some industry standards, e.g.
1. Networking standards: IETF RFC-s, IPv4/IPv6, Mobile IP, etc.
2. Cellular standards like 1x-EVDO, HSPA, WiMAX, LTE, etc.
3. LAN/PAN standards such as IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, BT, etc.
4. HW interface standard like USB2.0, SDIO, etc.
• HW/RF design
• Product design
• Project planning and execution
