Job Description We are looking for a Systems lead with design/development expertise in multiple broadband wireless technologies. The candidate will:
(i) work on leading edge products in the space comprising multiple IP based technologies such as 3G, WiMAX, LTE, WiFi, etc.
(ii) work in a highly dynamic environment with global cross functional teams (iii) architect, analyze and specify complex features, problems and/or products spanning RF/PHY, MAC, Network, Transport and Application level, (iv) travel as needed in order to accomplish the above.
Job Requirements ? Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
? 8+ years industrial experience
? Individual contributor as well as a team player
? Excellent oral and written communication skills
? Ideal candidate would have had experience in three or more of the following aspects:
Multiple radio coexistence
System Architecture (device as well as network side)
Algorithm Development (e.g., inter-technology handover to minimize packet loss and latency)
Performance Analysis/Optimization (e.g., CPU utilization, power consumption)
Intimate knowledge of some industry standards, e.g.
1. Networking standards: IETF RFC-s, IPv4/IPv6, Mobile IP, etc.
2. Cellular standards like 1x-EVDO, HSPA, WiMAX, LTE, etc.
3. LAN/PAN standards such as IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, BT, etc.
4. HW interface standard like USB2.0, SDIO, etc.
