Job Description Broadcom is developing solutions supporting the next generation of 3G and 4G high-speed mobile technologies. Broadcom offers a family of baseband processors, power management ASIC and RF ASIC for use in cellular handsets, PC cards and other wireless-enabled consumer electronics.
This position is within the Embedded Mobile group working on leading edge 4G LTE chipsets. In this role you will be a Senior Individual contributor in a 4G Wireless PHY software development team.
Job Requirements * 10+ years of hands-on experience developing L1 software for Wireless modems.
* Proficiency with all aspects of delivering robust wireless phy software from algorithms, development, qualification and testing, and SP deployment support is required.
* Proven track record of delivering multiple large software products to volume production
* Solid understanding and experience of OFDMA wireless modem design and signal processing
* Prior experience with vector DSPs a strong plus
* Prior Wi-Fi/WiMAX/3G/LTE UE design experience is a strong plus
* Pro-active, detail-oriented and effective working in a multi-tasking environment.
