Job Posting Title Sr Staff Systems DVT Engineer

Job Description This individual will play a critical role in WLAN DVT.
Day-to-day responsibility includes
- Lead wireless module and system bring up activities at DVT level and qualification projects
- Represent DVT as part of x-functional team for key programs
- Design and evaluate new test solutions for advance wireless standards
- Creating solid DVT testing procedure.
- Creating test plan and tracking results
- Lead other team members and delegate projects/work
- Perform detail analysis of test results for various chips
- Generate test reports for both internal and external customers.
- Debug issues with other teams (PHY team, driver team, system team and test development team)
- Mentor junior staff on RF, WLAN and other aspect of system knowledge.
Job Requirements - BSEE with 7 plus year experience. Or MSEE with 5 year experience
- Strong knowledge on one or more of the modern wireless communication standard include
WLAN 802.11x, WiMax 802.16e and LTE,
- Solid understanding of RF measurements and instrumentation such as Spectrum Analyzer, VNA, VSA, VSG, power meter.
- 5 + year hands on lab experiences for Physical layer test and system test
- Block diagram level understanding of RF Transmitter and Receiver design
- Good communication skills
- Good project management skill
- Pay attention to detail
- Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Hands on experience of bus interface such as PCI, PCIe, UART
- Familiar with operating system Windows XP, Window 7, iOS and linux
- Basic network knowledge
- Programming experience is desirable (Phython, TCL, C/C++)
