In this position you will: --Participate in continuous development and improvement of TD-SCDMA protocol stack (L3/L2/L1), development of TD-SCDMA and 2G/LTE inter-rat functionalities. --Participate in integration, verification, debugging and testing of TD-SCDMA solution into Broadcom’s 2G/3G/4G multi-mode modem platform. --Actively participate in TD-SCDMA and GSM/WCDMA performance enhancements, memory and MIPS optimization. --Support conformance, interoperability (IOT), and live network testing of TD-SCDMA and multi-mode modem solution. It will require performing analysis of the problem scenarios and generating efficient solutions. -- Develop simulation and host test tools, platforms, and scripts. Job Requirements -Typically requires a BS degree and 9 years of experience, an MS degree and 6 years of experience or a PhD and 3 years of experience. - Solid background and experiences on the cellular protocol stack (L1/L2/L3) development, integration and verification, particularly in TD-SCDMA. - Good knowledge on TD-SCDMA CCSA and 3GPP specs GSM/GPRS/EGPRS/WCDMA/UMTS/LTE/TD-SCDMA standards. - Proficient in C programming. - Good understanding of real-time OS, embedded system, and ARM. - Previous experiences on TD-SCDMA conformance and operator certification tests. - Knowledge on script languages, such as perl, a plus.
